Catherine Scandiffio, OD attained a Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Geneseo and her OD degree from SUNY State College of Optometry.  She currrently practices at Long Island Eye Surgical Care, with offices located in Brentwood and Sayville providing comprehensive eye care, pre/post-op care, contact lens fittings and low vision services.  In addition, Dr Scandiffio completed a residency program at the Northport VA Medical Center where she continues to practice, as well as, teach and supervise students and residents.  Previous to her presidency of the SCOS, she served as the socities secretary.
